“John of the Cross”

Each vivid print is on acid free, archival quality matte photo paper and measures 5"x10" and is mounted on a 11"x14" matte. The print is hand-signed and titled on the matte.
A mystic and Saint, a friar and a priest, Saint John of the Cross is also considered one of the foremost poets in the Spanish language. Although his complete poems add up to fewer than 2500 verses, two of them are by many considered masterpieces of Spanish poetry, both for their point of view and their rich visual imagery.
The Dancing Monk series is a collaboration between Pennsylvania painter Marcy Hall of Rabbit Room Arts, and author Christine Valters Paintner of Abbey of the Arts, a virtual monastery based in Ireland.

This is my second purchase of this beautiful print. My godson was so mesmerized by the first one that I gave it to him. He loved it with good reason: it’s beautiful artwork. It now sits on my wall again, next to my other Dancing Monk prints, bringing sacred joy into my home.

The seller must have seen the reviews that complained about packaging, and how their print had been damaged in shipping. My order shipped in a heavy cardboard envelope, and was in very good condition. Now to find the right matte & frame!
